1. Eggs - Skip the bagel this morning. Eggs, which are full of protein, will help you feel fuller longer-a lot longer. A multicenter study of 30 overweight or obese women found that those who ate two scrambled eggs (with two slices of toast and a reduced-calorie fruit spread) consumed less for the next 36 hours than women who had a bagel breakfast of equal calories. Other research has shown that protein may also prevent spikes in blood sugar, which can lead to food cravings.

The 300 Workout

With the great success that the movie 300 enjoyed, it is little wonder many now want a physique like many of the actors. Of course to get this requires A LOT of hard work and the correct diet, whilst maintaining the dedication throughout.

Mens Health ran an article that details this workout and how you can work towards your Spartan body.

The "Original" workout includes the following:

  • Pullups - 25 reps
  • Barbell Deadlift with 135 lbs. - 50 reps
  • Pushups - 50 reps
  • 24-inch Box Jumps - 50 reps
  • Floor Wipers - 50 reps
  • Single-Arm Clean-and-Press with 36 lbs Kettlebell - 50 reps
  • Pullups - 25 reps
